Shopify Website Designer & Developer (6+ Years Experience Required)

**Job Description:**
I am looking for a highly experienced **Shopify website designer and developer** to help improve an existing online store. The website is already built, but I need a professional who can **redesign, optimize, and update it** to increase conversions and enhance the overall customer experience.

This will be a **one-time project for a fixed price**, with the possibility of **ongoing part-time work** for periodic updates and improvements as needed.

**Responsibilities:**

* Review current Shopify website and recommend improvements for design, layout, and user experience
* Optimize website speed and performance (desktop and mobile)
* Ensure responsive design and functionality across all devices
* Check and fix any errors, broken links, or technical issues
* Improve navigation and overall shopping flow to increase conversion rates
* Optimize product pages, images, and checkout process
* Implement SEO best practices for better search visibility
* Recommend and integrate apps, tools, or features to improve functionality
* Provide ongoing support for updates, new features, or troubleshooting

**Requirements:**

* **Minimum 6+ years of proven professional experience** in Shopify design and development (applications with less experience will not be considered)
* Strong portfolio demonstrating successful Shopify projects
* Expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
* Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles for e-commerce
* Experience with website speed optimization and troubleshooting technical issues
* Knowledge of SEO, mobile responsiveness, and conversion optimization
* Familiarity with Shopify apps, integrations, and third-party tools
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to work independently
* Excellent communication skills

**Nice-to-Have Skills:**

* Experience with Klaviyo or other email marketing integrations
* Graphic design skills for banners and product images
* Understanding of multi-channel selling (Shopify with Etsy, eBay, Amazon, etc.)

**Work Arrangement:**

* One-time project (fixed price) to improve/redesign the site
* Potential ongoing **part-time work** for updates, maintenance, and improvements
