Client Acquisition Specialist/Sales

**About the Role**

We are seeking a talented individual to join our growing global tutoring business as a Client Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in expanding our reach by connecting more students from the US and China with our exceptional tutors. You’ll be responsible for identifying leads, initiating contact, and converting prospects into paying members of Smarty Pants Tutoring.

This is a contract-based position with potential for long-term growth and advancement into more complex roles within the organization.

You are a relationship-builder who thrives in multicultural environments. You’re confident, culturally sensitive, and skilled at engaging parents, students, and education communities. You have a proven track record of generating leads and converting them into loyal clients.

You are multilingual, with an advanced level of English (non-negotiable). Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, and fluency in English/Spanish/Chinese-Mandarin is highly desired. You’re quick to learn, organized, and resilient—driven by results and motivated by purpose.

Responsibilities

**Core Skills & Experience**

- Proven ability to generate leads and convert them into paying clients
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with experience driving sales processes from start to finish
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a remote team
- Familiarity with CRM software, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office tools

**Language & Cultural Competency**

- Advanced level of English (non-negotiable)
- Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
- Multilingual fluency in English/Spanish/Chinese-Mandarin (highly desired)
- Culturally sensitive and able to engage diverse communities with empathy and respect
