Key Responsibilities
Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Management
Process and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
Review and verify patient billing information for accuracy and complianc
Post payments, adjustments, and denials into the system
Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and appeals
Generate and send patient invoices and statements
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Administrative Support
Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
Handle
Maintain digital filing systems and organize practice documentation
Assist with data entry, reporting, and basic bookkeeping tasks
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed
Support daily office operations and provide general administrative assistance
Qualifications
Proven experience in medical billing, revenue cycle, or healthcare administration
Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical billing software
Strong understanding of insurance claim processes and medical terminology
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a medical practice or healthcare provider
Certification in medical billing and coding (CPC, CPB, or equivalent)
Prior virtual assistant or remote administrative experience
