What You’ll Do

Takeoffs & Estimating

Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from pool designs and construction plans.

Refine and update our internal pricing tool to keep it accurate and competitive.

Generate job-specific estimates and proposals that reflect both client goals and SPD’s quality standards.

Budget Tracking & Cost Control

After sale, track projects in real time to ensure labor and material costs stay on budget.

Flag variances early and collaborate with project managers to correct course.

Maintain a rolling database of actual costs vs. estimates to constantly improve accuracy.

Commercial Project Estimating

Prepare bids and estimates for commercial pool projects, supporting SPD’s growth into larger-scale work.

Research commercial pool requirements and create an estimating structure tailored to those clients.

Support business development by preparing professional bid packages.

Process & Tool Optimization

Continuously improve our pricing system with new materials, vendors, and real-world cost data.

Work with design and sales teams to integrate takeoffs and pricing seamlessly into our workflow.

Build repeatable estimating systems that keep SPD efficient as we scale.

What We’re Looking For

Direct experience preparing bids and estimates for pool construction or landscaping projects (required).

Strong skills in takeoffs and pricing tools (JobTread experience is a plus).

Analytical and detail-oriented — accuracy and numbers come naturally to you.

Organized, proactive, and accountable in your work style.

Ambitious, motivated to help SPD grow from luxury residential into commercial pools.
