Job Title: Full-Time Video Editor for Direct Response Ads (UGC & Short-Form)

About Media Atlas

Media Atlas is a performance marketing agency specializing in direct response advertising. We create, launch, and scale high-converting video ads across YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. We’re not a traditional agency—we operate like a lean, fast-moving internal team focused on speed, quality, and profitability.

We are currently hiring full-time video editors who understand performance-driven editing and can produce direct response video ads in formats that convert. You should have a strong understanding of frameworks like hook / body / CTA, know how to use editing to keep attention, and be hungry to improve with every round of feedback.

What You’ll Be Doing

Edit 30-second to 3+ minute ads for Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram

Work closely with media buyers and creative strategists to produce direct response ad creatives

Working with variety of different AI tools and Actor platforms based on current needs and creative briefing

Sourcing specific video footage and content for new creatives

Cut and assemble UGC-style and scripted ads from raw assets, stock, and b-roll

Generate AI voiceovers using ElevenLabs

Add captions, highlight important words, and time them to voiceover

Create multiple hooks and iterate on winning creatives

Add call-to-action end cards, countdowns, and urgency elements

Repurpose content for different aspect ratios and platforms

Research competitors and analyze winning ads to understand trends

Build and document editing processes for scale

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of editing experience (direct response experience preferred)

Strong portfolio of short-form UGC or ad content (not cinematic or vlog editing)

Experience using Premiere Pro and After Effects

Comfortable with fast-paced, feedback-heavy workflow

Good eye for pacing, attention-grabbing intros, and visual rhythm

Excellent English communication skills

Reliable, self-managed, and detail-oriented

Strong grasp of ad creative frameworks and storytelling for conversion

Available to work full-time (40+ hours/week) on EST

Nice to Have

Experience working on direct response ad accounts

Familiarity with performance metrics (CTR, CVR, hold rate)

Basic graphic design, thumbnail creation, or motion graphics

Daily Output Expectations

4–5 complete video ads per day (30 sec – 3 min)

3–5 new hook variations per video

1–2 rounds of revisions based on performance/feedback
