WordPress & GoHighLevel Developer (Hourly, Remote)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable WordPress Developer with GoHighLevel (GHL) expertise to join our team on an hourly, as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will be comfortable building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress sites, as well as working within the GoHighLevel platform to develop automations, funnels, and integrations.

This role will also involve supporting ongoing site updates, coordinating events, managing automations, and helping with client engagement processes. Strong PHP skills, API knowledge, and the ability to write scripts within these platforms are essential.

You will work closely with our team to implement technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, manage event workflows, and ensure smooth platform integrations. Strong communication skills, reliability, and availability during US Eastern business hours are key.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Development & Maintenance

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor and other tools

Add new blogs, events, and calendar updates regularly

Update images, optimize visuals, and make small functional adjustments as needed

Ensure websites are optimized for performance, security, and mobile responsiveness

GoHighLevel (GHL) Management

Build and configure funnels, pages, automations, and CRM workflows within GoHighLevel

Set up and manage Stripe integrations, payment workflows, and checkout automations

Configure and manage email campaigns, templates, and automations

Automation & Integrations

Manage WordPress-related automations and ensure seamless platform functionality

Implement API integrations between WordPress, GoHighLevel, and third-party platforms

Create and modify scripts to automate processes within both platforms

Events & Engagement Support

Set up Zoo ---------- etings and integrate them with the events calendar

Schedule and send automated event reminders and follow-up emails

Upload event replays to the website and ensure access for attendees

Follow up with new members via email to onboard them, answer questions, and help them engage with our programs

Collaboration & Troubleshooting

Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations clearly to the team

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively

Qualifications

Proven experience in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, Elementor)

Proficient in GoHighLevel platform setup, workflows, and customization

Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL

Hands-on experience with API integration and writing scripts

Familiarity with version control tools (Git preferred)

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Reliable internet connection

Must be available to work between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time

Preferred Skills

Experience with CRM migrations and advanced marketing automation

Knowledge of webhooks, JSON, and REST API workflows

Familiarity with graphic optimization tools for web performance

Understanding of SEO best practices for WordPress
