Talkatoo is reinventing dictation software by modernizing the experience for veterinary professionals, making it easy to use, and ensuring it’s accessible everywhere. We are a fast-growing, funded startup working with industry-leading partners.
We are looking for a capable veterinary technician or equivalent to join our growing team of veterinary transcriptionists. You will be responsible for transcribing veterinary medical records. Your attention to detail, fast and accurate typing and strong veterinary medical knowledge will make you excel in this position. You must be able to learn and work with a variety of Practice Management Software systems and be comfortable with technology.


Responsibilities
Transcribe veterinary medical records accurately and quickly
Access various PMS to input and update medical records
Communicate effectively with veterinary professionals through our application
Qualifications
Proficient in English, both written and verbal
At least one year of experience in a veterinary setting
Core Competencies
Fast typing speed of at least 60 words per minute
Very high attention to detail
Organizational skills
Ability to hear and understand speech across a very broad range of speakers
Confidence and ability to learn and adapt to new technology (iOS and web-based)
Self-starter who can manage themselves
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Able to work with others, a team player
