Job Description
We are building a custom Ethereum (Geth) fork with mining, token infrastructure, and a Blockscout explorer. We’re looking for a Blockchain Engineer to help us finish development, strengthen security, and stabilize infrastructure. This starts as a 40-hour paid trial (~$480 / ?27,100 at $12/hr). If successful, the role can expand into a long-term position with ongoing monthly compensation and token incentives. The critical infrastructure is already developed and staged via Google Cloud Platform -- so mostly looking for finishing help with this initial phase.
Responsibilities (Gig Scope – 40 Hours):
Review and improve our Geth fork setup (consensus, mining, block rewards, node redundancy).
Audit and refine Solidity smart contracts (wallets, fee splitters, treasury, bridge).
Validate mining pool configuration and payouts; assist with monitoring and redundancy.
Fine-tune Blockscout explorer (UI/UX polish, indexing health, DB/cache tuning).
Test wallet integrations (MetaMask, Privy, Coinbase, etc.) and ensure smooth global KYC flow.
Provide a short report of findings, fixes, and recommended next steps.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong experience with Ethereum/Geth internals and Solidity.
Background in mining, consensus, or pool infrastructure.
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Linux servers, Postgres, CI/CD).
Clear communicator who can work independently and deliver within scoped time.
Bonus: experience with Blockscout, monitoring stacks, or bridge/RPC infra.
Engagement & Growth:
Initial Gig: 40 hours (paid trial).
Long-Term Path: Ongoing monthly role with hybrid pay (cash + vested project tokens).
Flexible, async work with daily check-ins and GitHub/PR-based collaboration.
How to Apply:
Share links to 1–2 relevant repos or PRs (Solidity, Geth, or Blockscout work).
Briefly describe an infra issue you solved (what/why/how).
Confirm availability (hours per week and timezone).
