Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accurate recordkeeping, support monthly financial reporting, and help document and improve financial processes. This is a fully remote role that requires availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours (8 AM–5 PM EST).

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online)
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Record and adjust journal entries
Prepare and deliver monthly owner statements
Track and categorize income and expenses by property
Process payroll and vendor payments
Create and maintain financial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
Assist with year-end closing and preparation for tax filings

Qualifications
2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally in short term rental property management
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel or Google Sheets
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience working remotely and in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with short-term rental platforms (e.g., Airbnb, VRBO, ---------- )
Familiarity with property management systems or financial software integrations
Knowledge of job costing or unit-based financial tracking

HOURS AND COMPENSATION
You will be working EST hours, 8 am to 5 pm, Monday-Friday. The starting salary for this role is $ ---------- per month, with the potential for increases based on performance.
