The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to manage Australian tax compliance, planning, and advisory work.
You’ll work closely with our senior team, handling everything from tax returns to strategic advice for clients across different industries.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and lodge individual, company, trust, and SMSF tax returns

Manage BAS, IAS, and GST compliance for clients

Conduct tax planning and identify optimisation strategies

Handle ATO correspondence and resolve client tax queries

Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate reporting

Stay up to date with Australian tax legislation and regulatory changes

Key Requirements

? Must have a minimum of 5+ years of Australian tax experience (non-negotiable)
? Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, compliance, and reporting standards
? Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and other accounting software
? Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
? Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
? Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
? Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred)
