About the Role:

We’re looking for a creative, driven, and detail-oriented Video Editor / Social Media Manager to join our team. In this hybrid role, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality video content and strategically managing our social media platforms to grow an engaged audience organically.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who understands the power of short-form and long-form video content, has a pulse on social trends, and knows how to turn creative assets into community growth.

Key Responsibilities:

???? Video Editing:
• Edit engaging short-form and long-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and more.
• Optimize video formats for each platform while maintaining brand consistency.
• Repurpose existing content into snackable, high-performing clips.
• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, and sound to enhance viewer retention.
• Stay up-to-date with editing trends and content formats that perform well.

???? Social Media Management:
• Develop and implement a content calendar across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
• Grow social media followings organically through engaging content, community interaction, and trend participation.
• Analyze content performance and adjust strategy based on insights.
• Respond to comments, DMs, and engage with followers to build community.
• Monitor competitors and stay current with platform algorithm changes and trends.

Ideal Candidate:
• Proven experience in video editing (portfolio required).
• Solid understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
• Experience growing a brand or personal page organically.
• Strong eye for design, storytelling, pacing, and viral content hooks.
• Comfortable with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines.
• Passionate about content creation and digital storytelling.

Bonus Points If You:
• Have experience running paid ads (though not required).
• Have worked with influencers or on brand collaborations.
• Have basic graphic design skills or can create simple thumbnails, posts, etc.
