We’re seeking a Google My Business (GMB) Optimization Consultant to join our team full-time. This role is critical in helping our clients maximize visibility in local search and drive real business results.

Responsibilities

Optimize and manage clients’ Google Business Profiles (formerly GMB) to improve rankings in local search results.

Audit and update existing GMB listings for accuracy and completeness (categories, services, attributes, hours, photos, etc.).

Develop and execute strategies for local SEO, including keyword optimization, geotagging, and competitor analysis.

Monitor and respond to customer reviews, questions, and messages in a timely, professional manner.

Create and schedule Google Posts to increase engagement and visibility.

Track and report on performance metrics (impressions, clicks, calls, etc.) with regular updates to clients.

Research competitors and identify opportunities to enhance client listings.

Stay up to date with Google’s latest updates, guidelines, and best practices for local SEO.

Collaborate with internal marketing team to align GMB optimization with broader digital strategies.

Requirements

Proven experience optimizing Google My Business / Google Business Profiles (please provide examples or case studies).

Strong knowledge of local SEO best practices and ranking factors.

Experience using SEO tools (BrightLocal, Whitespark, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) is a plus.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
