Chicquette, a fashion channel for women over 40, is looking for a talented freelance video editor to join our team. We're seeking someone who can transform raw footage into a polished, up-style video that resonates with a sophisticated, mature audience.

What We're Looking For:

Aesthetic Alignment: We need someone who can perfectly match the vision of our brand. Think elegant, stylish design with all-white fonts, soft pastel backgrounds, and seamless transitions.

Visual Storytelling & Research: You will be responsible for sourcing and curating relevant b-roll footage to support our topics. This means diving into Pinterest and other platforms to research and find captivating clips that demonstrate the fashion trends we discuss. Product links and main video footage will be provided, but your creative eye will be crucial for the visual narrative.
Additionally, we are looking for a great researcher of fashion trends and Pinterest examples that demonstrate the theme of the video, with minimal guidance. A keen eye for details and consistent improvement from one video to another, with the goal of minimal feedback required and a perfect video execution without need for adjustments.

Fashion Savvy: A deep understanding of US fashion for women over 40 is a huge plus. We want an editor who instinctively knows what looks and styles our audience will appreciate and feel inspired by.

Quick Turnaround & Consistency: We require a fast turnover, with one video a week to start, with the potential to move to two videos a week. The ideal candidate can also work ahead to ensure we always have content ready to go.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a must. You should be skilled in color grading, audio mixing, and creating subtle, high-quality motion graphics.
