Shopify Specialist

Work with a U.S.-based coastal lifestyle brand | Long-term opportunity

Are you an experienced, detail-oriented professional with strong Shopify and product research skills?
We are a U.S.-based ecommerce company selling high-quality coastal home décor and gifts through Shopify. Our brand has been featured on CBS and has thousands of 5-star reviews. We are expanding our team and need someone who can expertly manage product sourcing, merchandising, and Shopify operations.

This is the specialist who will land this position:

Shopify Expertise:
- Set up new products in Shopify including copy, images, SEO, and collections
- Maintain and optimize Shopify theme, apps, discounts, and collections
- Ensure all product data is accurate, polished, and conversion-ready

Product Research & Sourcing:
- Research wholesalers and vendors, communicate, negotiate, and assist with ordering
- Provide admin support for buying trips: research shows, recommend vendors, organize notes, and follow up on potential orders
- Plan new products and seasonal offerings 3 to 4 months in advance by scanning vendors, competitors, and market trends

Merchandising & Analysis:
- Conduct competitive analysis and margin reviews
- Recommend retail pricing and best sales channels including Shopify, Amazon, and Email
- Use Google Sheets for margin calculations, forecasting, and reporting

Inventory & Purchasing:
- Manage reordering, receiving, and inventory adjustments
- Forecast demand to ensure we do not run out of stock
- Monitor seasonal and new product performance and adjust accordingly

Team Communication:
- Attend Zoo ---------- etings with U.S. staff
- Be proactive, highly organized, and accountable

Work Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Eastern Time (night shift in the Philippines)

You Must Have:

- At least 3 years of hands-on Shopify experience
- Strong Google Sheets proficiency including formulas, reporting, and margin analysis
- Proven product research and sourcing skills with wholesalers and vendors
- Excellent English writing skills with strong grammar, spelling, and polished flow
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Professional, reliable, proactive work ethic
- Quiet work environment and stable internet
- Willingness to attend Zoom calls with U.S. team
