About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to provide direct support to attorneys and clients. This position involves a combination of legal tasks and administrative support, with a focus on probate litigation, real estate transactions, and high-volume communication. The ideal candidate is fluent in English, organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple cases, files, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Paralegal Duties
Draft and revise petitions, motions, discovery demands, and legal correspondence.
Conduct legal research and evaluate case law, statutes, and court rules relevant to probate disputes.
Assemble and manage exhibits, witness files, and supporting materials for depositions, settlement conferences, hearings, and trial.
Submit filings through electronic court systems and coordinate proper service on all parties.
Track and calendar critical court dates, deadlines, and hearings; maintain a reliable docketing and case management system.
Handle client communications, including case updates, responses to inquiries, and gathering necessary information or documentation.
Liaise with attorneys, clients, experts, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth case progression.
Review and summarize medical, financial, and estate documents for attorney analysis.
Organize and maintain case files (both digital and physical) to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Assist in drafting settlement proposals, mediation statements, and trial notebooks.
Support attorneys during depositions, mediations, and trials by managing exhibits, taking notes, and coordinating logistics.

Administrative & Real Estate Support
Handle a high volume of phone calls, emails, and client communications.
Draft letters and general documents with professionalism.
Assist with real estate transactions, using existing templates and checklists.
Track, organize, and manage multiple files and strict deadlines.

Qualifications
Proven paralegal experience, with probate litigation background preferred.
Strong understanding of legal procedures, case management, and e-filing.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to manage communication-heavy tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
Organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who can work independently.
Experience supporting real estate transactions a plus.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using case management and productivity tools.
