Full-Stack Developer Needed: Jotform Chatbot Setup + Twilio + OpenAI Integration

We’re building Project SmallTalk, a HIPAA-conscious platform that helps speech-language pathologists (SLPs) engage caregivers with home practice through SMS prompts.
Our MVP will rely on Jotform’s AI Chatbot/Form (JWT interface) for therapist setup and input. The developer’s role will be to set up the Jotform chatbot/form itself and then integrate it with a custom backend and Twilio for SMS delivery, scheduling, and engagement tracking.
? All flowcharts, goal categories, and dashboard structures have already been created — you’ll be implementing, not designing from scratch.
Scope of Work
Jotform Setup (JWT Chatbot/Form)
• Create the therapist-facing chatbot/form inside Jotform (HIPAA plan)
• Configure fields for child setup (first name only, age/grade, functional level)
• Build goal-selection menus so therapists can pick multiple goals from a structured library
• Ensure Jotform webhook integration sends data correctly to backend
Backend + Twilio Integration
• Build backend logic for:
• OpenAI integration to generate developmentally appropriate prompts
• Goal rotation and prompt personalization
• Scheduling system (therapist can set frequency — daily, 3x/week, weekly, etc. — plus time of day and time zone)
• Twilio SMS setup: caregiver opt-in, message delivery, caregiver responses (1–5), automatic rescheduling if caregiver selects “adjust schedule”
• Engagement tracking: store caregiver responses securely (no PII) and make data exportable or viewable in a simple dashboard

• Jotform (JWT chatbot/form + HIPAA plan)
• Twilio SMS API (A2P 10DLC registration, send/receive)
• OpenAI API (prompt generation)
• Backend: Node.js or Python
• Database: SQL/NoSQL, HIPAA-conscious design
About You
We’re looking for a developer who can:
• Directly set up and configure the Jotform chatbot/form (not just integrate it)
• Connect Jotform to backend + Twilio using webhooks
• Build scalable backend logic for scheduling, goal rotation, and AI-generated prompts
• Handle Twilio SMS workflows from opt-in to caregiver replies
• Implement secure, HIPAA-conscious data handling
• Work within a lean startup budget (MVP first, expansion later)
