About the Project

We are looking for a talented Shopify website designer with a strong background in animated, video-first eCommerce design. The project involves building a modern, high-conversion Shopify store for a fashion/lifestyle brand, inspired by the interactive style of OhPolly’s “Soft Season” collection
.

The goal is to create a visually striking, smooth, and premium shopping experience that integrates video-first product pages, animations, and dynamic user journeys.

Responsibilities

Design and build a custom Shopify store with a focus on high-quality animated layouts and video-first product displays.

Create immersive product pages where videos and lifestyle content are prioritised over static imagery.

Ensure a seamless mobile-first, responsive design optimised for conversions.

Integrate Shopify apps, custom scripts, or animations to replicate a premium fashion brand shopping flow.

Implement smooth navigation and micro-interactions for a dynamic, engaging UX.

Optimise for fast load times, SEO best practices, and performance tracking.

Collaborate on brand aesthetics (fonts, colours, layouts) to align with the client’s vision.

Requirements

Proven experience in Shopify design and development (portfolio required).

Strong eye for UI/UX design with a focus on fashion, beauty, or lifestyle eCommerce.

Skilled in video integration on product pages (looping, autoplay, seamless transitions).

Knowledge of liquid coding, CSS animations, and Shopify customisation.

Ability to balance creative animation with conversion-driven layouts.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international clients.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with motion design tools (After Effects, Lottie, etc.).

Understanding of Shopify Plus and advanced customisation.

Familiarity with influencer-driven shopping experiences.

Deliverables

Fully functional animated Shopify website.

Homepage, collection pages, and 10–15 product pages with video-first design.

Checkout and cart flow optimisation.

Documentation/handover guide for future updates.
