Video and Audio Editor

Seeking amazing individual who is detail oriented and efficient for part-time video and audio editing. My company, Next Success, supports individuals through career transitions. You can learn more at ---------- and our YouTube ---------- podcast, Your Next Success, is new yet already receiving recognition - recently ranked #1 in August in indie leadership podcasts by Goodpods.

Video and audio editing assisance is needed for podcasts and for online course modules. Descript is the preferred tool we use for video recording and editing. If you have skills using other platforms, great - but I need work done in Descript at this time.

General Virtual Assistant Duties. Anticipated tasks include:
- General organization and prioritization of tasks
- Video Editing
- Podcast Editing
- Supporting Company efforts related to Social Media, Growth, and Engagement
- Engaging in training courses for skill building and learning
- Creation of standard operating procedures
- Seeking continuous improvement
- In striving for excellence, revisions to work completed may be requested
- Listed responsibilities and tasks are not exhaustive. Company reserves the right to assign the contractor additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Work Hours
- Trust is extended that you will manage your time and productivity and complete the agreed upon work hours. Give your best effort during your work time for Next Success.
- Use a time tracker, TimeProof, to log hours accurately and submit a weekly time report along with your invoice, detailing tasks completed and time spent.
- Expected work hours are at least 20 hours a week mostly scheduled at your convenience* typically between Monday – Saturday (flexibility is understood as family or life events may occur to where it may not be possible to work a day, in those cases, please adjust other days accordingly so that 20 hours is reached). You may work more hours than 20 if you want.
- Schedule *at least 2 work hours weekly to occur between the hours of 9AM – 10PM United States Eastern Time Zone, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing in advance. This request is so we could have overlapping work time for 1:1 zoo ---------- etings or group meetings.
- In case there is some personal or family illness or other reason for not being able to complete the expected work hours, reach out as soon as possible to explain the challenge. We can reach an agreement to adjust work hours in the same week, or carry over to another week, or as a last result have unpaid time.

Expected Communication
- VA is expected to communicate via email, trello, slack, Zoom or other agreed upon methods
- Each day worked, VA will send a brief end of day update - To report on the status of assigned tasks (in progress, complete, needs help/challenge encountered, stopped/rescheduled), Asking any questions, providing suggestions for improvement, or sharing constructive feedback.
- Each week, preferably before Saturday noon Eastern time - Submit a weekly invoice and time tracking details. Your time is valuable and we want you to be paid accurately.
- Although you can choose to work any day, work is not expected to occur on Sundays. If any email or other communication is received on Sunday, there is no need to respond until Monday. Additionally, you are not expected to answer an email immediately during your non work hours. It is essential to enjoy your life, family, and friends, and then answer during work time.
- Workload & Availability Transparency – Contractor agrees to disclose and update if they are working with other clients to ensure proper workload management and alignment with project deadlines.
