We are looking for an experienced field marketing professional to join us for a two-week campaign in Bulacan. Your mission will be to help us promote the TrustClub network, TruRate lending service, and our peer-to-peer rental platform Rentsy, while also inspiring people to set up their own businesses on the network.
This role is hands-on, on-the-ground, and perfect for someone who thrives in the field - out and about, talking to people, spreading the word, and bringing fresh marketing ideas to life. You will be in charge of planning and executing.
We’ll cover costs for the trip, and you’ll be working closely with both of our co-founders, with daily catchups with our UK team.
What We’re Building
We’re creating a network based on trust, one that enables people to build successful businesses. Two of which have are live - TruRate & Rentsy.
Our pilots in the Philippines focus on:
TruRate – a fair, community-driven lending service with dramatically lower default and interest rates.
Rentsy – a peer-to-peer rental service for everyday items.
By working with us, you’ll help accelerate financial inclusion and entrepreneurship in Bulacan as well as working to sell the TrustClub network - a network of trust - that they can build businesses on.
Role Overview
You’ll be the face of our campaign in Bulacan, driving awareness, sign-ups, and engagement. This will involve direct community outreach, creative field marketing activities, and grassroots events that connect with everyday people.
Key Responsibilities (these will come down to how you prioritise & plan):
- Community Outreach & Promotion
- Engage with barangay leaders, local groups, and community influencers.
- Spread awareness about TrustClub, TruRate, and Rentsy in a clear and inspiring way.
- Encourage and support individuals to set up businesses on the network.
- Field Marketing Campaigns
- Run small-scale events and activations (e.g., sari-sari stores, barangay halls, remittance centers).
- Spend and manage a field marketing budget effectively.
- Test creative ways of promoting services in person (flyers, posters, referral challenges, demos).
- User Onboarding & Support
- Guide new users through sign-up and referrals.
- Explain benefits of joining and incentivize referrals and sign-ups.
- Feedback & Reporting
- Share insights and feedback from the field to improve our approach.
- Join daily check-ins with the co-founders and UK team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in field marketing, community engagement, or grassroots sales in the provinces.
- Comfortable working in local communities and engaging with diverse groups of people.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Filipino
- Proactive, outgoing, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Flexible and happy to travel locally, with some evenings/weekends as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
