Part-Time Video Editor (Talking Head Style Content)

We’re looking for a part-time video editor who knows how to turn long-form talking head videos into short, engaging clips that tell a clear story.

What you’ll do:

- Take unedited recordings (around 10 minutes long) and cut them down into 1–2 minute impactful videos
- Identify the strongest parts of the recording, cut out repetition/pauses, and build a clear narrative flow
- Add light editing where needed (cuts, transitions, captions, etc.) to keep things engaging and polished

What we’re looking for:

- Strong storytelling instincts able to pick and choose the right parts to make a video concise and powerful
- Experience editing talking head or social media content (**please share samples if you have them**)
- Attention to pacing and clarity in edits

Important: Test Task (Please Read)

We require every applicant to complete one short test task using our raw footage.

- This task is unpaid and is purely for us to evaluate editing style and fit.
- If you are not comfortable with an unpaid test task, please skip this application.
- We only want applicants who understand that the test task is the best way for us to see if your style matches what we need before we pay you and hire you.

This keeps the process fair and ensures we only move forward with editors whose work truly aligns with our content.

ps: We'll pay for the trial video if we end up posting it.

Compensation (after hiring):

- $40SGD / $31 USD ( per video concept)
- Performance bonus: For every 5,000 views a video receives, you’ll earn an extra $30SGD / $23 USD
