About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Design Assistant to support our franchising, leasing, and design/build functions. This role will play an important part in ensuring that new store designs, lease requirements, and brand standards are executed seamlessly across our network.

The Design Assistant will collaborate with internal teams, franchise partners, landlords, and external partners to provide design support, assist in lease documentation reviews, and help coordinate projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Build Support
Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating design drawings and layouts that align with brand standards.
Support design development for new stores, refurbishments, and fit-outs.
Liaise with external partners, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent and quality are maintained.
Assist in reviewing fit-out drawings to ensure compliance with franchisor guidelines.

Franchising & Leasing Support
Provide design input during site evaluation and lease negotiations (e.g., assessing site suitability, layout possibilities).
Assist in reviewing lease plans, site measurements, and landlord requirements for alignment with design and operational needs.
Maintain an organized library of design guidelines, landlord specifications, and franchise standards.
Support franchise partners with design-related queries and documentation.

Project Coordination
Assist in coordinating timelines and deliverables between internal stakeholders, franchisees, and external consultants.
Support project tracking to ensure design and leasing milestones are met.
Prepare presentations, reports, and visual documentation for management and franchise partners.

About You
- 1–3 years’ experience in design support, preferably within hospitality, retail, F&B, franchising, or commercial fit-outs.
- Knowledge of franchising and/or leasing processes is an advantage.
- Proficiency in design software (Revit or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a good understanding of design standards and compliance.
