JOB OVERVIEW

Main Responsibilities:

Sales
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of company itineraries, destinations, and ships.
• Manage incoming inquiries, via email and calls.
• Assist an international network of tour operators and travel agents in selecting and booking
expedition cruises for their clients based on their interests and preferences.
• Attend to customer requests in a professional, timely manner, managing the booking process
for each reservation from initial contact to final payment. Maximize the opportunities for
revenue for Antarctica21 with each booking inquiry by accurately and proactively presenting
the Company’s products and services and following up on potential bookings in a timely
manner.
• Work towards the sales plans of each market to achieve team sales targets.

Customer Service
• Communicate with customers in a professional, supportive, and friendly manner, proactively
anticipating their needs.
• Support the delivery of the Company’s products and services by coordinating post-sale
communications with customers as management requests.
• Address customer concerns and provide solutions in a timely manner.

Administrative Tasks & Other
• Ensure all bookings and client information are accurately recorded in the reservation system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth trip operations.
• Stay updated on company policies, terms & conditions, and travel regulations.
• Support the Sales & Marketing department with administrative tasks as management
requests.


Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge

• Professional proficiency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience in incoming travel sales
• Experience with travel reservation systems
• Ability to build rapport with clients and travel agency partners
• Proficiency in booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Attention to detail, proactive, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Passion and enthusiasm for the travel industry
• Ability to accommodate possible weekend work during the high season

Welcomed Additional Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• A university degree
• Experience with high-end, adventure travel, or expedition cruising
• Demonstrated passion for nature, wildlife, photography, the arts, etc.
• Knowledge of Antarctica, Chile, Patagonia, and remote destinations
• Experience working in a sales-driven environment with KPIs
• Extensive international travel and/or live-abroad experiences
• Professional proficiency in Spanish
