We’re Hiring: Part-Time Video Editor for Podcasts (20 Hours/Week)

Screw It Just DO It Ltd, a UK-based podcast agency led by Alex Chisnall (host of Screw It Just DO It podcast), is looking for a part-time Video Editor to help us turn podcast recordings into videocasts like Diary of a CEO and scroll-stopping video content across YouTube, Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.

We work with a range of business podcasts, from founders and CEOs to industry leaders, and we’re growing fast. We need a designer who can consistently deliver high-quality visual content across social platforms and podcast promotion.

Role Type:
Part-time (remote)
20 hours per week
Flexible working hours (as long as deadlines are met)
Long-term role with room to grow

What You’ll Be Doing:
Edit long-form podcast video episodes (45–60 mins) for YouTube
Edit short-form video clips (15–60 secs) for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Sync audio and video, remove filler content, add jump cuts
Add captions, hooks, headlines, emojis, music and transitions to short-form videos
Export content optimised for each platform (YouTube, IG, TikTok)
Work with existing brand templates, assets and creative direction

What We’re Looking For:
Experience editing podcasts or talking-head/interview-style content
Proficiency with editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve)
Strong understanding of video pacing, storytelling and what hooks viewers
Able to deliver high-quality edits under tight timelines
Bonus: Knowledge of YouTube layout best practices and SEO-friendly formatting
Bonus: Experience editing in Canva (for quick static assets or thumbnails)
