Mobile/Full Stack Engineer

Salary: $4-$8/hour (Negotiable based on experience)

Stack Engineer who is heavily motivated to exercise their technology skills to push boundaries
with a forward-thinking organization. The Full Stack Engineer will have complete, end-to-end
ownership architecture and product engineering. The ideal candidate has experience building
full stack products with solid design, engineering (mobile, API, DB), and infrastructure skills
(Cloud technology). The Full Stack Engineer will be the core of a small team of engineers that
utilizes technology to solve challenges for the Business - both front-end and back-end, with the
ultimate mission of delivering delightful experiences for our users. Our company values

Objectives of this role
? Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and
project requirements
? Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment
? Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable
positive user experiences and measurable business growth
? Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for
code quality and application design
? Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing
continued learning opportunities
? Partner with Leadership, Product Management, and UX (User Experience) to delight our
customers and deliver stunning Products to the Market.
Full-Stack Developer Duties and Responsibilities
? Participate in all aspects of lean software development, including design,
implementation, deployment, and maintenance
? Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and
scale
? Work primarily in the MERN stack
? Primary front-end delivery will be React Native for mobile applications
? Engage with inspiring UX designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with
leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIs
? Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent
videoconferences
Full-Stack Developer Required Skills and Qualifications
? 2+ years of experience in building primarily mobile applications
? 3+ years of proven experience in building large-scale software applications (N-tier
applications)
? 3+ years of expertise in front-end technologies: JavaScript/JS frameworks - React,
Node.js, Angular, jQuery, Express.js
? 3+ years of proven experience in server-side programming languages: PHP, Python, etc.
? 2+ years of proven expertise in DB and cache technologies: MongoDB, MySQL, Redis,
Memcached, ec.
? 2+ of solid experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
? Experience configuring and deploying on Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
? Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux
? Proven experience in debugging and optimization skills
? Proven experience in in unit/integration testing
? Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it
? Effective communication with colleagues, leadership, vendors, user focus groups, and
other stakeholders
Preferred skills and qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer engineering, information technology,
digital design, or similar field
? Previous experience in e-commerce, Product, or SaaS applications product delivery -
either agency or client-side
? 2+ years of proven portfolio of delivered applications
? Previous experience with product integrations/services: Search, Address verification,
Payment systems, etc.
? Preference to candidates located in the Cebu, Manila, or Iloilo areas with solid access to
reliable Wi-Fi and power.
? Proven ability in source code control using version control systems, such as Git, SVN,
and Mercurial
? Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies
? Engagement in sector-specific professional development opportunities to keep current
with technological advances, as well as governmental and sector-specific regulations
and best practices.
