We specialize in providing high-quality, durable concrete coating solutions to residential and commercial clients. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis.

Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of payroll best practices and multi-state payroll regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly payroll for employees across WI and TX

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices

Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation

Manage deductions, benefits contributions, bonuses, PTO and reimbursements

Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Coordinate with HR and management on new hires, terminations, and changes affecting payroll

Prepare payroll reports for accounting and leadership as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar role

Solid understanding of payroll regulations, including multi-state payroll (WI and TX preferred)

Experience using payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks Payroll, iSolved, Paylocity, or similar)

High attention to detail and confidentiality

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Position Details

Hours: 10–15 hours per week (may vary slightly with payroll cycle)

Location: Remote (with flexibility for occasional meetings)
