Video Editor for YouTube and Social Media Shorts (Per Video, Ongoing Work)

I’m looking for a skilled video editor to turn my recorded presentations into polished long-form YouTube videos and engaging short-form clips (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).

This role requires blending talking head video with presentation slides into one cohesive long-form video. Please only apply if you have experience syncing video with slide content (not just short-form clipping).

You’ll be responsible for editing one long-form video (6–10 minutes) and creating 6 short-form vertical clips from it. We’ll start with 10 videos per month, with the possibility to increase later.

Responsibilities:
-Edit long-form videos (blend talking head + Canva slides, or podcast video/audio clean-up)
-Create 6 short-form clips per video (vertical, under 60s, engaging hooks)
-Add captions, transitions, b-roll/stock footage when needed
-Deliver organized files via Google Drive (no posting required — another VA handles that)

Compensation:
-$20–25 per video bundle (1 long-form + 6 short-form clips)
-Average 10 videos/month = $200–$250 total
-Paid monthly via Payoneer

Requirements:
-Portfolio of long-form and short-form video edits
-Strong sense of pacing and storytelling in short clips
-Access to editing software of your choice (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, Descript, etc.)
-Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines

Trial Project:
To apply, submit your portfolio and complete a paid trial project ($25):
Edit 1 long-form video (provided)
Create 6 short-form clips in different styles (quote, summary, pro tip, etc.)
