Risk & Compliance Associate

About the role
At our company, we don’t run our own stores — we support the stores of our (100+) merchants by managing their backend. As a Risk & Compliance Associate, your main responsibility is to ensure that every merchant we onboard and support meets our compliance standards. You’ll carefully review websites, policies, and processes to make sure everything is set up correctly, so that our payment processing remains healthy and sustainable. Not only for new merchants, but also reviewing existing merchants weekly.

What you’ll do
- Review merchant websites against our website requirements checklist
- Verify that policies (shipping, refund, privacy, etc.) are complete, correct, and compliant
- Check whether the setup of stores matches our risk & compliance standards
- Flag and report any issues that could affect our processing health
- Support the team with ongoing monitoring to keep chargebacks and refunds low
