Marketing Strategist Extraordinaire
Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Strategist Extraordinaire to guide and oversee brand growth across multiple platforms. This is a strategy-first, execution-light role: you’ll design, refine, and oversee the marketing engine while the creative/VA team handles production. Your focus: client acquisition through cohesive storytelling, automation, and category-of-one positioning.
Responsibilities
Platform Strategy & Prioritization
Audit existing platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, podcast, blog,
Present data-driven recommendations on which 3–4 platforms to prioritize and which to pause.
Ensure weekly blog content aligns with SEO and client acquisition funnel.
Content & Brand Cohesion
Guide the creative team with feedback on graphics, captions, and copy.
Protect and refine category-of-one positioning (luxury, trauma-informed, authority-driven).
Maintain consistency of voice, tone, and visual aesthetic across platforms.
Analytics & KPIs
Define and track KPIs weekly/monthly (reach, engagement, lead magnet opt-ins, waitlist sign-ups, booked calls, conversions).
Build and maintain a Google Sheets dashboard (integrated with automations).
Flag performance gaps and propose clear optimization strategies.
Automation & Funnel Optimization
Use
Proficient in
Ensure content,
Oversee funnel structure from content ? opt-in ? nurture ? call ? client, with focus on organic growth + nurturing.
Strategic Leadership
Bring evidence-based strategies for funnel growth (drawing from proven marketing frameworks).
Refine, not reinvent: leverage existing ICA insights, StoryBrand, and competitor review analysis.
Report weekly with updates, performance insights, and next-step recommendations.
Requirements
Experience in marketing strategy (coaching, healthcare, or transformation industries a plus).
Strong understanding of client acquisition funnels and content-driven growth.
Familiarity with SEO, StoryBrand, and conversion-focused copy frameworks.
Proficiency in
Analytical mindset — able to track KPIs, identify trends, and propose clear actions.
Strong communication — able to provide feedback without needing to execute design/copy.
Compensation & Time Commitment
$6/hour
~5 hours per week (autonomous, supervisory, leadership-focused role).
Contractor position with flexible hours but required weekly reporting/communication.
Success Metrics
Cohesive, differentiated brand presence across selected platforms.
Growth in opt-ins, waitlist sign-ups, and booked consults via organic funnels.
Automations that reduce manual work and ensure scalability.
Weekly KPIs tracked and optimized toward the ultimate goal: client acquisition.
