The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Web SecOps Engineer to serve as the guardian of our clients' websites and hosting environments. In this role, you will be the trusted technical expert responsible for the security, performance, reliability, and availability of their web infrastructure.

What You'll Do:
- Client Web Infrastructure: Manage and secure a diverse portfolio of client websites on Pressidium's managed hosting platform, handling administration, performance tuning, service monitoring, and penetration testing.
- Domain & DNS Management: Migrate websites to Cloudflare and implement and manage custom Cloudflare configurations. Update DNS entries with precision and under change control for multiple client accounts.
- WordPress Expertise: Act as a technical resource for the security of client WordPress sites. This includes collaboration with website developers and webmasters regarding security reports and recommending code fixes for vulnerabilities.

- Client Communication: Clearly communicate technical issues, security recommendations, and status reports to clients and internal account managers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

Who You Are (Core Qualifications):
- Proven SecOps/IT Experience: You have demonstrable experience in a role focused on web security and operations, preferably in an agency or Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
- Cloudflare Expertise: You are comfortable moving websites to Cloudflare. You are proficient administering Cloudflare and customizing performance and security settings through their dashboard.
- WordPress & Web Hosting: You possess deep knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem and managed hosting platforms (such as Pressidium).
- Code Competency: You are comfortable reading, debugging, and fixing code (specifically PHP) to resolve security issues. This is not a development role, but you will be using security tools to find and then recommend technical remediations.
- Excellent Communicator: You can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (clients) with clarity and confidence. C2 (Advanced/Mastery) in English required, both written and verbal, suitable for a U.S. audience.
