Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager / Field Supervisor to lead our Managed Service Provider (MSP) operations. This role will oversee ticket management, field dispatch, and project management across our diverse client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams and delivering exceptional IT support in a fast-paced MSP environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the MSP helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution of tickets and high client satisfaction
Coordinate and dispatch field technicians for on-site support and project implementations
Lead project management for IT deployments, upgrades, and migrations across client environments
Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
Ensure adherence to SLAs, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
Provide technical expertise and hands-on support for complex issues as needed
Collaborate with clients to assess needs, propose solutions, and maintain strong relationships
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years in IT management, with at least 5 years in an MSP helpdesk environment leading teams
Technical proficiencies in:
Windows Server (on-premise and off-premise), Azure AD, Office 365, MS Exchange Server, SharePoint, Intune
Google Workspace and associated Google Cloud infrastructure
Setup, configuration, and management of Ubiquiti, Cisco, SonicWall, and Synology hardware
Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing IT deployments and migrations
Proven ability to manage ticket workflows, prioritize tasks, and dispatch field resources effectively
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving client needs
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA)
Experience with MSP tools such as RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) or PSA (Professional Services Automation) platforms
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
