Mechanical Product Designer (Fitness Equipment)

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Product Designer to help us bring a new fitness equipment concept to life. You will take our existing idea and reference images, then design a fully functional, production-ready version for our manufacturer to produce.

Responsibilities:
Convert our product concept into detailed 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings.
Engineer a dual-axis motion system (horizontal rotation + front/back pivot) with a locking mechanism.
Select and recommend appropriate materials for durability, safety, and cost-effective manufacturing.
Prepare manufacturer-ready files including STEP, STL, and PDF drawings with measurements and tolerances.
Provide exploded views and assembly diagrams for clear manufacturer communication.
Collaborate with us to refine the design based on feedback.
Ensure the design can be mass-produced using injection molding and standard manufacturing methods.

Requirements:
Proven experience in mechanical product design (fitness equipment or similar consumer products preferred).
Proficiency and access to SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar CAD software.
Understanding of mechanical motion systems (pivots, ball joints, locking mechanisms).
Experience preparing designs for mass production.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good English communication skills for collaboration.
