WordPress Developer Associate

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer Associate with experience in Elementor to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who has foundational WordPress development skills and a passion for continuous learning. You will assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing responsive websites while also supporting content updates, including blog posting, to ensure client sites remain engaging and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:
-Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor.
-Build responsive, SEO-friendly, and high-performance websites based on design mockups and client requirements.
-Post and format blog articles, ensuring proper SEO optimization and consistent styling.
-Implement basic HTML, CSS, and occasional JavaScript enhancements as needed.
-Troubleshoot and resolve website issues such as performance, layout, and compatibility problems.
-Collaborate with other developers, project managers, and content teams for seamless site launches and updates.
-Optimize websites for speed, performance, and security following best practices.
-Manage basic website maintenance tasks such as plugin updates, backups, and content edits.
-Stay updated with WordPress, Elementor, and web development best practices.

Qualifications:
-Basic to intermediate experience as a WordPress Developer, preferably with Elementor projects.
-Proficiency in WordPress, Elementor Pro, HTML, and CSS (basic JavaScript a plus).
-Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
-Familiarity with WordPress plugins, themes, and content management workflows.
-Basic knowledge of SEO best practices for blog posts and website content.
-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
-Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
-Experience with WooCommerce or eCommerce websites.
-Basic knowledge of PHP.
-Familiarity with website security best practices.
-Experience with image optimization for web.

Work Schedule:
-Full-time position (remote).
-Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm CST
