UX / UI Designer

- Location: Remote (Applicants based in Cebu preferred)
- Working Time: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Philippine time (1 hour lunch break)
Salary: Php 35,000 / month during a 2-month probation period, increasing to 41,000 / month after 2 months

Job Description

The UX/UI Designer designs and manages internal websites and client projects using Balsamiq, Figma, Elementor, and WordPress. They create mock-ups, set up key features like eCommerce, and work closely with clients to gather content and make updates.

They also support the app development team by creating UI mock-ups and helping with front-end styling using HTML and CSS as needed. This role blends creativity and tech skills to build websites and apps that look good and work well.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design user-friendly mock-ups and prototypes for websites, client portals, and apps
- Work with app developers to design UI components and assist with front-end styling (HTML/CSS)
- Conduct user and market research to inform UX/UI decisions
- Add and update website content, ensuring consistent visual style and layout
- Enhance website and app usability and accessibility based on user feedback and best practices
- Optimize layouts and calls-to-action to improve conversion rates
- Communicate clearly with clients and the internal team

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in web design or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in UX/UI or web design
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Elementor, and Wordpress
- Experience with usability testing and UX research methods
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant work and creativity
