We’re looking for a creative, metrics-driven Social Media Manager to take our brand presence to the next level across multiple platforms. This person will not only manage our channels, but also shape the strategy, drive engagement, and create a compelling online voice for AAMU.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging, on-brand organic posts across all platforms.
- Use trending concepts, industry news, and timely promotions to increase visibility.
- Perform basic video editing for testimonials, event recaps, and short-form social videos.
- Monitor, measure, and report on post performance, engagement, and follower growth.
- Proactively engage with our audience and relevant online communities to build relationships and credibility.
- Collaborate with our leadership and event teams to capture and share impactful content.
- Adjust strategies based on data and platform trends to optimize results.
Preferred Skills & Background:
- Proven experience managing multiple social media channels for a brand or organization.
- Familiarity with healthcare, medical education, or related fields.
- Strong grasp of analytics and engagement metrics.
- Ability to spot and adapt to social media trends quickly.
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, CapCut, or similar video editing tools.
- Excellent writing skills and an eye for compelling visual content.
