About BL4CKOUT Labs
We build the BL4CKOUT Plate — a specialty license plate cover intended for off-road/show use.We’re a startup growing rapidly and need a detail-obsessed designer to own email design (flows + campaigns) in Klaviyo. Tone matters to us: bold, clean, legible, on-brand.

What you’ll do
- Design high-converting email creatives in Figma or Canva for Klaviyo flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase) and campaigns.
- Create mobile-first layouts, clear hierarchy, strong CTAs; keep files lightweight and accessible.
- Maintain a small design system (colors, type, buttons, spacing), organize assets, and version updates.
- Use Trello to track tasks and escalations.

2-4 week paid trial; retainers begin after pass.

Requirements
- 2–3+ years designing marketing emails for ecommerce.
- Proficiency in Figma or Canva (both is a plus) and familiarity with Klaviyo email builder.
- Strong grasp of layout, typography, spacing, and mobile-first design; can explain choices briefly.
- Comfortable exporting/optimizing assets (file size, retina readiness), writing alt text, and avoiding image-only emails.
- English: clear, concise copy tweaks; can align visuals to brand tone.
- Available in EST overlap (we’ll agree exact shift).

Compensation & Benefits
- USD $640/month (equivalent to $4/hr fulltime) (paid via Wise/Payoneer; semi-monthly).
13th-month pay (pro-rated), tenure bonus, paid training.
