We are seeking a talented and experienced Podcast Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for podcasting and a keen eye for visual storytelling. You will be responsible for transforming raw audio and video footage into polished, professional, and shareable content that captivates our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of both video and audio production principles, with a particular focus on enhancing the quality and flow of conversational content.
Responsibilities:
Edit and assemble raw audio and video footage into compelling podcast episodes.
Enhance the visual appeal of episodes through the use of B-roll, motion graphics, captions, and other visual elements.
Synchronize audio and video tracks accurately and seamlessly.
Collaborate with the podcast host and producers to understand the vision for each episode.
Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic and style across all video content.
Manage and organize project files and assets efficiently.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in podcasting and video editing.

Full-Length Episodes: A complete, edited video version of each podcast episode, formatted for platforms like YouTube, Rumble, and the company website.
Highlight Clips: Short, shareable video clips (e.g., 30-90 seconds) featuring key moments or soundbites from the full episode, optimized for social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels,
Teaser Videos: Short, engaging videos designed to promote upcoming episodes.
Intro/Outro Sequences: Consistent and branded video introductions and outros for each episode.
Visual Enhancements: The integration of B-roll footage, animated titles, lower-thirds, and on-screen graphics to enhance the viewing experience.
Captions: Accurate and well-timed captions or subtitles for accessibility and social media viewing.
Audio Deliverables:
Final Mastered Audio: A polished, high-quality audio file of each podcast episode, ready for distribution on all major podcast platforms (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.).
Noise Reduction: Cleaned-up audio with background noise, hums, and other unwanted sounds removed.
Audio Leveling: Consistent and balanced audio levels across all speakers to ensure a smooth listening experience.
Audio Enhancements: Editing out "ums," "ahs," long pauses, and other verbal fillers to improve the flow and pace of the conversation.
Intro/Outro Music: The seamless integration of branded intro and outro music.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience as a video editor, with a strong focus on podcasting or similar long-form conversational content.
Proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Experience with audio editing and mastering software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, or similar tools).
A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating your video editing skills and experience with podcast content.
Excellent storytelling abilities and a keen sense of pacing and timing.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
