Overview
We are seeking a seasoned IT Manager / Field Supervisor to lead our Managed Service Provider (MSP) operations with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure. This role will oversee helpdesk operations, field dispatch, and project management across a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, and hybrid environments, along with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver exceptional IT support in a fast-paced MSP setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the MSP helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution of tickets and high client satisfaction
Coordinate and dispatch field technicians for on-site support and project implementations
Oversee cloud-centric IT projects including migrations, deployments, and infrastructure upgrades
Provide hands-on technical leadership in Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, and hybrid environments
Mentor and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering collaboration and growth
Monitor SLAs and KPIs, and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
Collaborate with clients to assess needs, propose cloud-first solutions, and maintain strong relationships
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years in IT management, with at least 5 years in an MSP helpdesk environment leading teams
Deep technical proficiency in:
Azure AD, Office 365, Intune, SharePoint, MS Exchange Server
AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC configurations
Windows Server (on-prem and cloud-hosted)
Google Workspace and Google Cloud infrastructure
Setup and management of Ubiquiti, Cisco, SonicWall, Synology hardware
Strong project management experience in cloud migrations and IT deployments
Proven ability to manage ticket workflows and dispatch field resources effectively
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving client needs
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA
Experience with MSP tools like RMM and PSA platforms
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
