We seek a skilled SEO strategist to elevate our current SEO framework, helping us grow organic visibility, traffic, and qualified leads across all brands.
Role Overview
This part-time role involves not only refining and expanding our existing SEO strategy but also owning the full lifecycle of SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) activities across all our brands. Your mission will include:
Architecting a scalable SEO content plan with pillar posts and supporting clusters
Designing and implementing an effective internal linking structure
Driving backlink acquisition efforts
Optimizing for emerging AI-driven search engines and voice assistants
You will be responsible for on-page, off-page, and technical SEO audits and improvements, ensuring websites maintain peak health and comply with best practices. You will continuously analyze SEO performance and user intent, adapting strategies to evolving search algorithms and consumer behaviors. Collaboration with content, web development, and paid marketing teams will be critical to execute a cohesive, multi-channel search marketing approach.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct deep audits of existing SEO performance across content, technical, and backlink profiles; identify gaps and prioritize opportunities.
Architect and implement a pillar content strategy supported by relevant cluster posts to establish topical authority and improve organic visibility.
Develop and maintain a robust internal linking framework that enhances crawlability, user experience, and distributes link equity effectively.
Plan and execute ethical backlink outreach campaigns to acquire high-quality, relevant inbound links that boost domain authority and search rankings.
Optimize all website content and metadata for targeted keywords, user intent, and AEO principles—tailoring for voice search, featured snippets, and AI-powered results.
Perform technical SEO tasks including site speed optimization, mobile usability, schema markup implementation, canonicalization, hreflang, crawl budget management, and indexing issues resolution.
Collaborate with developers on WordPress/Elementor platform optimizations and troubleshoot SEO-impacting technical issues.
Use advanced SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.) to monitor performance, conduct keyword research, and generate data-driven insights.
Stay informed of the latest SEO, AEO, and search engine algorithm updates; proactively adapt strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
Integrate SEO efforts with paid search and social campaigns to maximize overall digital marketing ROI.
Provide regular, clear SEO performance reports and strategic recommendations to leadership.
Train or advise internal teams on SEO best practices to ensure ongoing site and content health.
Monitor and respond to changes in search behaviors, including emerging voice assistants and AI search platforms, aligning content to meet evolving consumer needs.
Manage SEO documentation, workflows, and tools to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
3+ years of SEO experience with proven results elevating organic traffic and rankings.
Strong knowledge of pillar content strategy, internal linking best practices, and backlink acquisition.
Skilled in keyword research tools and SEO platforms (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
Experience with content optimization for AI search and voice queries (AEO).
Familiarity with WordPress and Elementor website platforms; ability to collaborate on SEO implementation is a strong plus.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
Familiarity with the travel or educational tours industry SEO is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and present clear strategies.
Commitment & Compensation
Part-time role, approximately 15–20 hours per week.
