Job description
The E-Commerce Officer is a strategic role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the company's online sales operations. You will drive initiatives to increase online revenue, optimize the e-commerce platform, and improve the overall customer experience. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and hands-on management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. E-Commerce Strategy Development:
Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive online sales growth and achieve business objectives.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Create and manage e-commerce budgets, forecasting sales, and tracking performance against goals.

2. Account Management:
Oversee daily operations of the e-commerce platform, including product listings, content updates, and inventory management.
Ensure platform functionality, usability, and performance are optimized for a seamless customer experience.

3. Sales and Marketing Optimization:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute online marketing campaigns, including SEO, IPA, and social media.
Analyze and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies to improve ROI and conversion rates.
Implement promotional strategies and special offers to boost sales and customer engagement.

4. Customer Experience Enhancement:
Monitor customer feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement in the shopping experience.
Develop and implement strategies to improve site usability, navigation, and overall user satisfaction.
Address and resolve customer issues and inquiries related to the e-commerce platform.

5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize analytics tools to track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, and sales.
Prepare regular reports on e-commerce performance, providing insights and recommendations to brands and senior management.
Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize website performance and customer experience.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with fulfillment team to ensure smooth operations and fulfillment processes.
Coordinate with design and creative teams to develop high-quality content, visuals, and promotional materials.

7. Market Research and Trends:
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce.
Evaluate new tools and technologies that could enhance e-commerce operations and performance.

8. Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, marketing, creatives and fulfillment to ensure smooth e-commerce operations.
Communicate effectively with affiliate partners, providing support and guidance to maximize their performance.

9. Affiliate Marketing:
Design, execute, and manage affiliate marketing programs to enhance brand visibility and drive traffic to the e-commerce site.
Identify and recruit new affiliate partners and develop strong relationships with existing affiliates.
Track and analyze affiliate performance, providing regular reports on ROI, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
Collaborate with affiliates to create and optimize promotional materials and campaigns.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
2+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a proven track record of driving online sales and managing e-commerce platforms.

Skills:
E-Commerce Expertise: Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, tools, and technologies.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, track performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
Marketing Knowledge: Experience with digital marketing strategies including SEO, IPA, and social media.
Customer-Centric: Ability to understand and enhance the customer experience to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and other third party e-commerce sites) and content management systems.
Proficiency analytics tools (e.g., Meta, IPA) and CRM systems.

Personal Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
