Job Description

I’m looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build a fast, mobile-friendly, SEO-optimized website for my real estate content brand ---------- (Greater Toronto Area niche).

You will build the full website on my SiteGround hosting with a lightweight theme (Kadence, Astra, or GeneratePress), install essential plugins, and set up lead capture forms integrated with my email marketing system. The goal is a clean, professional, and easy-to-manage site where I can post blog articles and capture leads.

Responsibilities
• Install WordPress on SiteGround hosting and configure a lightweight, fast theme
• Set up essential plugins: SEO (Rank Math or Yoast), caching, security, Google Analytics integration, contact forms, and lead capture
• Create pages: Home, Blog, About, Contact, Resources (lead magnet opt-in), Privacy Policy, Terms of Service
• Design and implement a lead capture form connected to Mailchimp/ConvertKit for a free downloadable guide
• Optimize site for SEO and page speed (Google PageSpeed Insights score 80+ mobile)
• Ensure SSL security (https), mobile responsiveness, and clean UX/UI
• Create a blog post template ready for content publishing with SEO fields and social share buttons
• Provide clear documentation or video tutorial on how to publish blog posts and manage lead forms

Requirements
• Proven experience with WordPress setup and theme customization
• Good understanding of SEO best practices and site performance optimization
• Experience with lead capture forms and email marketing integration (Mailchimp or ConvertKit preferred)
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to deliver on time and provide support during site handoff
