Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant who has a strong foundation in SEO and a working knowledge of PPC, email marketing, and LinkedIn outreach.

This role will start as part-time (20 hours per week) with the potential to increase to full-time as the agency grows. You’ll work directly with the agency owner and be responsible for supporting multiple clients with day-to-day marketing tasks.

Key Responsibilities
SEO (Primary Focus)
On-Page SEO:

Keyword research and mapping to web pages

On-page optimisation (meta titles, descriptions, H1/H2 structure)

Content formatting and publishing on WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS platforms

Technical SEO checks and recommendations (using SE Ranking, Screaming Frog, or similar)

Competitor research and on-page SEO reporting

Off-Page SEO:

Link building outreach (guest posts, directories, partnerships)

Identifying backlink opportunities and tracking acquisition progress

Monitoring and reporting on backlink profile health using SE Ranking

Assisting with digital PR campaigns and content promotion

Other Digital Marketing Support
PPC campaign assistance (Google Ads – basic optimisations, pulling reports)


Email
campaign setup (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar)

LinkedIn outreach using We-Connect

Uploading/scheduling social media content

Conversion tracking setup and monitoring using Nimbata

General admin and marketing support

Requirements
Essential:

Proven experience with SEO (on-page and off-page) — please include examples or results

Proficiency with SE Ranking for keyword tracking, site audits, and backlink monitoring

Familiarity with other SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Brightlocal Screaming Frog, or similar)

Strong written English and attention to detail

Comfortable learning new software quickly

Reliable internet connection and good communication skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with Google Ads and Facebook Ads


Email
marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.)

LinkedIn outreach tools (We-Connect)

Conversion tracking tools (Nimbata)

Basic HTML/CSS knowledge

What We Offer
Competitive part-time salary based on experience (?12,500–?20,000/month for 20 hrs/week)

Potential to move to full-time role as agency grows
