We’re looking for a Community Engagement Specialist to represent a US-based event ticketing platform across forums and Q&A platforms like Reddit, Quora,
If you enjoy writing helpful responses, understand how to build relationships online, and know how to lead people to solutions without sounding too “salesy,” this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and respond to questions and threads across online platforms (e.g., Reddit, Quora, forums, social groups) where people ask about selling tickets or finding trustworthy ticket platforms
- Write clear, personalized responses that are aligned with the brand’s voice — helpful, informative, and never pushy
- Help educate people about what the brand offers (you’ll receive training on our key selling points and FAQs)
- Track and log engagement efforts across multiple platforms and report leads or opportunities
- Monitor feedback and sentiment about the brand in public forums
- Manage and respond to reviews to maintain a positive brand reputation
- Help develop internal FAQs, response templates, and knowledge base content based on recurring questions
- Coordinate with the team to get approvals for links or promotions when needed
Who You Are
- You have experience in content writing, online moderation, community engagement, or digital customer service
- You have excellent English communication skills — grammar, tone, and clarity are your strengths
- You know how to write naturally for forums like Reddit, Quora, or social platforms without sounding too promotional
- You’re empathetic, patient, and know how to build trust through helpful responses
- You understand US culture and behavior online, especially around forums, fan communities, or event-goers
- You’re resourceful, reliable, and comfortable working independently
- You can manage time across multiple platforms and prioritize conversations that matter
Nice to Have
- Previous experience handling reputation or trust-building efforts for a brand
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Trello, or any task trackers
- Light SEO or link-building knowledge (though this is not a link-building role)
- Awareness of ticketing, events, fan communities, or digital marketplaces
