Researcher/SEO Specialist/Writer

This role is both tactical AND strategic. When working with my teammate, l am looking for someone that can not only do the tasks outlined in the job, but has the forward thinking ability to grow the website/blog.

Researching
At least 3+ years of experience in researching and SEO
Research problems in the self-love, love & relationship, fitness & health, and inspiration niche to assist with finding blog content opportunities that perform well.
Scour the web for articles related to above niche; summarize points, facts, and figures and provide links to articles.
Research and provide keywords/long tail keywords to utilize in blog content
At least 3 + years of experience in using ubersuggest, buzzsumo, SEMrush, Google Keywordtool.io; Market Samurai, AHREFs, or other related SEO tools
Find details of potential contributors to do expert round up posts
Conduct competitor analysis to find out what keywords are bringing their audience.
Tracking monthly report on SERP ranking.
Ability to provide explanation and recommended course of action via research on keywords/long tail keywords, competitor analysis, and other tracking reports (e.g. google analytics, google webmaster tools, bing webmaster tools, etc.).
Ability to work independently

On-Page SEO
Prepare all blog posts to publish status, which includes but not limited to:
Clean-up blog post and ensure blog posts are formatted consistently (e.g. providing quotes, format with bold & italics, H2 tags, etc.)
Ensure keywords are in title, headings, description, etc.
Provide images and optimize with keyword rich title and descriptive alt tags
Pick category for blog posts and choose relevant tags
Perform SEO-check up; optimize the posts by adding meta description and checking it passes with the Yoast SEO plugin
Provide internal linking to post (old/relevant posts, other blogger posts, etc.)

Please note that writing may be necessary in this role once in a while. However, the bulk of the job is mostly research and SEO related tasks.
