Remote Bible Content Assistant (Sermon Research & QA)

We’re building Bible Guide, an app that helps users deepen their faith by delivering curated sermons, transcripts and key takeaways. Join a small, fast-moving team and make an impact on how people engage with Scripture.

Role Overview
We need a part-time remote assistant who’s a committed Christian to:
• Source and research online sermons on assigned passages or topics
• Review for theological accuracy, clarity and audio/text quality
• Summarize key takeaways and prepare metadata (title, speaker, date, Scripture references)
• Transcribe or verify transcripts when needed
• Upload content into our CMS and flag any issues

What You’ll Bring
• Active Christian faith and solid Bible knowledge
• Strong English reading/writing skills
• Comfort with Google search, YouTube and basic CMS tools
• Experience with Google Sheets (or similar)
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable internet connection and your own computer

Nice to Have
• Background in church ministry, theological studies or sermon prep
• Prior remote-work experience
• Experience in conversion of YouTube videos to MP3/MP4 and other formats, using yt?dlp/ffmpeg or reliable GUI equivalents; consistent ID3 tagging and file naming.
• Hands?on experience in AI?based CMSes (AI tagging, auto?transcription, semantic search, LLM?assisted metadata) or demonstrable comfort adapting to them.


Hours & Compensation
• ~10–40 hours/week (flexible)
• AUD 4–6/hour (depending on experience)
• Paid via Wise Bank Transfer
