STRONG SEO Optimization Expert, with WordPress-Elementor Experience

We are a 20-year old Digital Marketing Agency that is seeking a highly skilled WordPress Website Designer/Developer with a strong understanding of SEO best practice and proper implementation of SEO. to join our remote team.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for modern web design, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with our team and clients via Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

We have two full time people from this website currently for the past two years, full time.

Responsibilities:
• Design and develop responsive WordPress websites based on project requirements and branding guidelines.
• Customize WordPress themes and build pages using tools like Elementor.
• Optimize websites for SEO performance, including meta tags, heading structure, alt tags, schema, page speed, and mobile-friendliness. If you don't know how to do this, you will need to learn it on the job.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based project managers and clients to discuss design concepts, project timelines, and revisions.
• Join client meetings via Zoom when needed (typically once a week).
• Estimate hours for design and development projects/tasks before starting.
• Work closely with the internal SEO team to implement best practices across web projects.

Must-Haves:
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• A strong portfolio of recent WordPress website designs.
• Minimum 4+ years of professional WordPress web design/development experience.
• Availability to work and communicate between 8am and 5pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) via Microsoft Teams.
• Comfortable speaking directly with clients in meetings and presenting designs over Zoom.
• STRONG Skill of on-page SEO, user experience design, and page speed optimization.

• Experience with tools like Google Search Console, MOZ, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or other SEO tools.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with ADA compliance and web accessibility standards.
• Understanding of conversion optimization for landing pages.

Compensation:
• $4/hour to $7/hour USD, depending on experience and skill level.
• Performance-based bonuses and rate increases available.
• Top performers may be offered a full-time role as a Designer/Developer with expanded responsibilities in SEO.
