Full-Time Video Editor for Real Estate YouTube Channel (Long & Short Form)

About Us:

We are Mile High Homes and Land, a Colorado-based real estate brand specializing in cinematic home tour videos on YouTube. Our content helps attract high-quality clients while allowing buyers to experience properties virtually in a visually compelling and informative way.

We're growing fast and are looking for a dedicated full-time video editor to join our team long-term.


Responsibilities:

- Edit 3 long-form YouTube videos/week (6–10 min home tours)

- Edit 3 short-form videos/week (1–3 min Reels/TikToks/Shorts)

- Add music, text overlays, transitions, color correction, speed ramps, sound effects, branding etc. (We will have a list of things needed for each video)

- Apply a consistent visual style across all videos

- Upload and organize final edits in shared Google Drive folders

- Communicate efficiently with team (filmmaker, owner)

- Make revisions quickly based on feedback


Skills & Requirements:

- 2+ years of video editing experience (real estate or YouTube content preferred)

- Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

- Ability to work with Google Drive and Slack/WhatsApp for communication

- Familiarity with YouTube pacing, hook-based intros, and Shorts/Reels style

- Eye for detail, good sense of flow and sound design

- Fast turnaround (1–3 days per project)

- Fluent in English

We’ve designed a streamlined process so you can open your computer and get straight to work — no guesswork or chasing files.

You’ll receive:

? A shared Google Drive folder labeled with the property name and date

? Organized raw footage (room walkthroughs, B-roll, drone, etc.)

? A clear Editing Brief (PDF or Notion doc)

? A checklist to mark when edits are complete

? Slack or WhatsApp group for quick questions or feedback

Work Style:

- Fully remote

- Must deliver consistent weekly output with quality control

- This is a long-term position with room to grow as we scale


Compensation:
$500/month (based on experience and quality — open to negotiation)

Paid monthly via Venmo, PayPal, Cash app or your preferred method
