Short Form Video Editor

We’re looking for a Video Editor to help turn raw footage into fast-paced, scroll-stopping short-form content for a military-themed card game. This is gig-based work, with payment per video. We’re looking for someone who can add energy, tension, and polish using transitions, effects and on-screen text.

What You’ll Do:
• Edit short-form vertical videos (30–90 seconds) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Create eye-catching intros that hook the viewer in the first 3 seconds
• Add cinematic or glitch-style transitions, speed ramps and effects to build intensity
• Use on-screen text and kinetic typography to enhance storytelling or highlight key info
• Sync visuals with music, sound effects, or voiceovers for dramatic impact
• Apply color grading, filters, or overlays to create a consistent style

Skills Required:
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve (preferably premiere pro)
• Strong understanding of short-form content trends and pacing
• Ability to work with raw, unpolished footage and turn it into a compelling final cut
• Bonus: Experience with motion graphics or animated text
• Bonus: Familiarity with military, gaming, or cinematic aesthetics
