Job Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our remote team. The ideal candidate is proficient in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, has solid experience in accounting reports, bank reconciliation, and U.S. tax processes. This role also requires someone who can confidently and clearly communicate within the team and with management on all accounting and administrative updates.

Responsibilities
•Manage daily accounting tasks and financial transactions
•Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and financial reports
•Prepare and manage U.S. tax-related documents and filings
•Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy of financial records
•Assist in the development of process improvements and ensure compliance with accounting policies
•Provide timely updates and clear communication with the team and leadership

Qualifications
•Proven experience with QuickBooks Online and Desktop
•Strong background in general accounting, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations
•Familiarity with U.S. tax processes
•Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized
•Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
•Must not have other jobs during employment with Palmer Construction
•Must be comfortable participating in meetings and collaborative sessions in Pacific Standard Time
