Creative Long-Form Talking Head Video Editor – Part-Time (Potential Full-Time)

We are a U.S.-based entrepreneur running two growing businesses:

Marketing and AI – helping businesses through strategic marketing and content creation. Providing AI-powered voice receptionist and automation solutions for small businesses.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented long-form video editor who specializes in talking head videos for YouTube, training content, and other marketing purposes.

The ideal candidate pays extreme attention to detail, is thorough and creative in their work, and can bring raw footage to life with pacing, cuts, captions, and creative enhancements that keep viewers engaged.

This is a part-time position to start, with the potential to move into full-time if you are open to taking on additional VA tasks such as light graphic design, basic social media content creation, or admin support.

Responsibilities:
Edit long-form talking head videos for YouTube, courses, and other training content
Trim, cut, and arrange footage for smooth pacing and engaging flow
Add captions, callouts, transitions, b-roll, graphics, or animations as needed
Adjust audio levels, clean up background noise, and ensure consistent sound quality
Color correct and enhance visual quality for a professional look
Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and messaging
Collaborate with the Business Owner to maintain a consistent creative style
Meet agreed deadlines without compromising quality

Qualifications:
Proven experience editing long-form talking head videos (portfolio required)
Strong attention to detail — every cut, caption, and effect matters
Creative approach to making talking head content more engaging
Proficiency with editing software
Knowledge of adding motion graphics and captions (After Effects a plus)
Ability to work independently while taking direction and feedback well
Reliable, organized, and consistent in meeting deadlines

Work Schedule:
Part-Time – flexible hours, but must meet agreed deadlines
May transition to full-time if performance is strong and you are open to other VA-related tasks
Long-term commitment preferred
