JOB OVERVIEW

Colnect, a social network for collectors from around the world, is looking for a talented designer to make our website shine and sparkle. The services we offer collectors are unique and enabling newbies understand the great benefits that come with Colnect has never been an easy task. We are now looking for a pro that can help us create a smooth and easy user experience along with a slick design. As we're constantly developing new features and growing, we're not looking for a single project but a full-time contractor to work with us. Working on Colnect will present interesting challenges such as creating a responsive design for multiple languages, dealing with user-generated content, handling different collectible categories, each with its own needs and more.

Must have requirements:
Expert in Adobe Photoshop
High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (or Sketch)
Experience in Wireframing/Prototyping
Experience with responsive web-design
Good portfolio

Nice to have:
Drawing/cartooning capabilities
Behance/DeviantArt profile
Good command of English
Ability to slice to HTML/CSS/JS

Responsibilities:
Translate research data into UX patterns that connect the company goals with the user needs
Participate in user and product research to test, evaluate and strategize on opportunities to evolve the product experience
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Ability to convey concepts through sketches, renderings, style guides wireframes and visual specifications


Work conditions:
Freelance style work and flexible hours
Various responsibilities and minimal bureaucracy
Full time (170 per month) working hours will be registered using a time tracking app
Regular communication through emails and Skype
